These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to placenetconsultants.com/international and the use of services provided by PlaceNet International, a division of PlaceNet Consultants Private Limited (founded in Chennai in 2005). By engaging with our university representation services, registering for admissions calendar events, or submitting recruitment inquiries, you agree to these Terms.
1. In-Country University Representation Mandate
PlaceNet International acts as an authorized in-country representative in India for accredited universities and educational institutions across the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, France, and Continental Europe. Our representation services encompass institutional liaison, pan-India regional market strategy, school and college outreach, admissions event management, and candidate pre-screening.
2. Admissions & Visa Outcomes Disclaimer
University Authority on Admissions Decisions
PlaceNet provides expert admissions advisory, pre-screening, and application facilitation. However, all final decisions regarding academic admission, offer letters, prerequisite assessments, credit transfers, scholarships, and enrollment remain exclusively at the sole discretion of the respective partner university. PlaceNet does not guarantee university admission or offer issuance.
Student visa approvals, entry clearance, and immigration permits are adjudicated solely by foreign sovereign embassies, high commissions, consulates, and border agencies. PlaceNet has no influence over sovereign immigration decisions.
3. Student Applicant Responsibilities
Prospective students and applicants utilizing our counseling and admissions services agree to:
- Document Authenticity: Submit authentic, un-manipulated academic marks sheets, degree certificates, and certified language proficiency scorecards (such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Submission of fraudulent documentation results in immediate termination of representation and reporting to partner institutions.
- Accurate Information: Provide verifiable academic and background details necessary for institutional evaluation.
- Adherence to Deadlines: Comply with university submission dates, fee deposit deadlines, and visa appointment schedules.
4. Admissions Calendar & Spot Assessment Events
Registrations for spot assessments, university delegate meetings, and admissions webinars via our Admissions & Intakes Calendar (/international/career) grant event participation subject to venue capacity and university delegate timetables. PlaceNet reserves the right to modify event schedules, formats, or locations in response to delegate travel changes.
5. Cross-Border Workforce Recruitment
For international corporate talent acquisition, executive search, and global staffing:
- International talent sourcing adheres to fair hiring practices aligned with ISO 30405:2023 and International Labour Organization (ILO) standards.
- PlaceNet International never charges candidates recruitment fees for overseas job placements.
- Commercial agreements, recruitment milestones, and placement guarantees are formalized via bilateral client Master Services Agreements.
6. Intellectual Property
The PlaceNet International name, trademarks, logos, digital calendar architecture, and editorial content are the exclusive intellectual property of PlaceNet Consultants Private Limited. Partner university crests and institutional trademarks remain the intellectual property of their respective institutions.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of this website or our international advisory services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
